Hi Indy

kick start unit.

Noticed some starter cog/dogs on ebay which look like mine
eBay item 160505593699
Also decided to get a lot of the bits laser cut, rather than me trying to use
the lathe!! not very experianced!!!!
you should be able to CNC lathe..

I will send you the drawings so far, and will send photo's when I start to
put together.

ps sold 5 rear wheel sets. and also 5 sets of the rectifier/swinging arm covers.

Had the front axle caps engraved before final polish and chrome plating

getting most of the body bits of my kick start unit laser cut, I reckon now,
if I could get the right starter cogs and kick start pedal, I could do the whole
unit as a kit of parts...
but will still post pictures of the construction, when available.

Laser cutting,, you have a guy who fix it for you?.

Hi Indy

I had a local company to do the engraving. He also has a special machine
which can engrave photo images onto metal surfaces. I have some special
badges for my Drifter, which I will be enquiring about the cost, to see if is viable.

I have somebody else who is also interested in the kick starter unit, so
I am now scouring ebay for the right kick starter bits.
and will delay my laser cutting order and increase the number of items by 2 extra
hopefully this may reduce the unit cost of parts..

Fitted rear crash bars, rear wheel spoke covers, rectifier and swinging arm covers to Micks Bike on Sunday
Also, James visited on his Drifter, painted like a war time Harley
We had a nice ride out along the scenic Thames Valley
