I hope you are keeping well yourself... its quite a time since I have been on this forum..

Hi Indy

I hope you are well, crash bars just stick out, past my pannier bags by
about 2.5cm.. will fit my bags back on the Drifter today.

The wheel covers, make the rear wheel easier to keep clean, the hours
I have wasted cleaning the spokes in the past has been many!!!

We are spending a lot of money this year, as it is Sheila and my 40th
Wedding anniversary.. I cannot promise yet, but if possible I will try..
but a lot depends on how the work and getting clients to pay for the work
improves this year..

I do have other items which I have had made availalble if anybody is
interested,

4 sets of Axle covers before polishing, engraving and chroming

the set with the genuine 'FIRE and STEEL' drifter badge is still not been sold.

rectifier cover plate in laser cut polished stainless steel..
£16 plus p&p which includes the plate, 2 spacers and 2 extended
stainless M6 countersunk screws.. [3 HAVE ALREADY BEEN SPOKEN FOR]
only one remaining

A pair of swinging arm cover plates in polished stainless. As you can see by the reflection..
Price £10 a pair plus p&p [3 HAVE ALREADY BEEN SPOKEN FOR AS WELL]
again, only one set avaliable
And... they look supurb with the stainless swinging arm fixing point covers
you made for me..

And over the next few weeks, I will be making my kick start unit, which
when you kick down, will operate the starter motor on the Drifter...

Hi Indy

I'm afraid the kick start will be a one off and very time intensive..
I acquired some Honda 125 kick start dogs/cogs a few years ago,
I will try to take photos and supply drawings of what I have done
when it is finished. I know you are more than capable of adapting what
I have done and produce your own..
It means two extra wires to the handlebar switch and I will be using a
door light switch to provide the on/off when the kick start is pressed down.
I will also put an inline isolator switch.

should have some details to send to you soon.

Malcolm.
